R and I went to see KD Lang last night at what is my favourite Sydney venue, the State Theatre.  A 1920's totally over-the-top piece of history that has somehow managed to escape the developers. 

Excellent concert, part of her worldwide Watershed Tour.  Her voice is amazing, every word and every note so perfectly clear and her very talented backing group is just that -  they do not play over her voice and support her beautifully, both instrumentally and vocally.  She's chatty and generous with her audience as well.  It was a real treat.
